In his book Babel Inc. Multiculturalism Globalisation and the New World Order, New Zealand-born author Kerry Bolton lucidly outlines the globalist elite’s drive to use multiculturalism and mass immigration as a bulwark against traditionalism and nationalism which stand in the way of the financial elite’s quest to create a borderless world of deracinated “economic cogs” who worship at the altar of the “Almighty Dollar.”
Bolton explains how Marxism and Capitalism are not truly at odds with one another, as each doctrine promotes an internationalist order and seeks the destruction of nation-states. International finance capitalism, Bolton contends, aims to break down the barriers inhibiting the freest possible flow of capital and labour across the globe. The powers-that-be are attempting to erect a Global Shopping Mall on the ruins of national, ethnic and cultural identities which stand in the way of the invasive greed-driven policies of multinational corporations.
Bolton describes how the United States, as the primary vehicle of international finance capitalism, has often sought to undermine nationalist movements in Europe and in the latter half of the last century conducted a campaign of subversion against European powers that maintained colonies in Africa. Bolton asserts that the US aimed to uproot Europe’s colonial possessions in order to impose its own neo-colonial economic order on Africa and Asia.
Bolton also sheds light on the much-ignored Jewish role in advancing the globalist agenda. He shows that influential Jewish financiers and lobby groups have been instrumental in the push for multiculturalism in the West and even how Jewish-Zionist ideologues such as Israel Zangwill and Emma Lazarus invented the “melting pot” philosophy that is bandied around so often today by America’s political and cultural elites.
I conducted an exclusive written interview with Dr. Bolton to gain more insights into his very interesting and intriguing analysis as presented in Babel Inc.
Question #1: Dr. Bolton, in your book Babel Inc. you deconstruct the Marxist meme that contends capitalism is inherently “racist” and “white supremacist.” As you demonstrate in your book, the US played a key role in undermining European colonialism in Africa and Asia as well as toppling the apartheid regime in South Africa. You show that globalist corporations and institutions like Bilderberg, CFR, etc. have actually taken on an anti-racist outlook because racial and national identities are an impediment to the global markets that capitalist financiers want to tap into in order to make the most possible profit. Is the Left just drunk on their own dogma or are they paid disinformers in this regard?
Kerry Bolton (KB): There is a conjunction of aims between capitalism and Marxism, because, as Oswald Spengler pointed out in The Decline of the West, The Hour of Decision, and Prussianism and Socialism, both arose from the same economic Zeitgeist. He also pointed out that a consequence of this is that there is no socialist movement from this milieu that has not been bought off by Big Money, and whether they will it or not, serve the interests of Money. It is a short way to getting largesse from one’s enemies through various direct and indirect routes such as the tax exempt foundations, Soros, NED, USAID and a multitude of others.
Additionally, the plain temptation of money for one’s cause has not been well resisted whether by Lenin, Trotsky, the New Left, or current post-New Left.
A third factor is that of unity through common enemies. Hence, the Left and capitalism can readily unite to defeat “Fascism,” “racism,” “traditionalism,” “reactionism” (as Marx called guild socialism) and the like. Trotskyites have in particular been ever ready to whore themselves to capitalism and the USA with their over-riding hatred for Stalinism, to the point where Sedova Trotsky, Trot’s widow, supported the US war against North Korea. Likewise with Trots such as Max Schachtman, Menshevik Dr Sidney Hook and other Trots who formed the basis of the misnamed “neo-conservatives.”
Question #2: You coined the term “homo globicus” to describe the globalist/corporate push to create an identityless mass of producers and consumers with no roots and no attachments – a global “monoculture.” You talk about international capitalism’s war particularly against Western cultures and societies. Why is Western culture such a threat to the aims of these cosmopolitan financiers?
KB: All traditional cultures are inherently a threat, or at least a hindrance to the agenda, as we see with the assault on Islam. However, it is the West from where the globalists operate, so they must assure that their position is maintained. Their system arises in Civilisations in the epoch of decay, where money values predominate. The same cycles have occurred in prior civilisations. It’s a two-way process; the plutocrats come to the fore in a certain era of cultural decay, and from there the degeneration process accelerates because of that influence, which becomes the commercialisation of culture. It is the West that has the superiority in technics, which has been pressed into the service of globalisation. In a healthy culture, such people would be, and have been, dragged through the streets and killed as usurers. Now they are lauded as great businessmen, entrepreneurs, and even as humanitarians.
Question #3: In Babel Inc. you have a chapter called ‘The Jewish Factor’ outlining the Jewish role in pushing globalization and multiculturalism. Presumably the Jewish motive to promote multiculturalism, as is argued by Kevin MacDonald in The Culture of Critique, is that Jews view traditional European societies with strong ethnic/cultural solidarity as an impediment to Jewish advancement and power. Weakening such cultures would thereby afford Jews a great ethnic advantage and lessen what they erroneously call “anti-Semitism.” How does the Jewish motive tie in with the globalist/capitalist/corporate motive? And is there any crossover seeing as Jews have a dominant position in the financial world?
KB: Those who were previously usurers, old clothes merchants, market hagglers, or whatever, come to the fore when such traits are seen as somehow marks of success rather than traits of the underclass and the outcaste. In Western society Jews prosper from this cycle of Mammon, because the mark of citizenship is whether one pays taxes and functions as an economic unit. I think the Jewish capitalists and Zionists can have motives that are at times in conjunction with cosmopolitan capitalists and at times in divergent. Jewish interests are not always predicated on what is most profitable, but can be messianic. Kissinger and Soros, for e.g., have at times been in disagreement with Israel from the globalist viewpoint.
Question #4: In Babel Inc. you break down some of the real motivations behind destructive US foreign policy. Obviously the US frames its military interventions in bogus humanitarian rhetoric, but there is always an economic ulterior motive behind it. You cite the US-led NATO war against Serbia as part of this US corporatist campaign to destroy nationalism in Europe. You also place the US war against Iraq in this category. Many though would argue that the Iraq war and the broader US-led “war on terror” in the Middle East is driven primarily by Israel, its powerful lobby in the US and the Zionist neocons who hijacked the Bush administration. Obviously Israel benefitted most from the Iraq war and other US interventions in the Middle East. Do you agree with those who contend that Israel basically dictates US foreign policy as it relates to the Middle East?
KB: I see a convergence of interests between the Zionists and those who want to achieve U.S. imperium. They are not always necessarily one and the same. However, the USA was founded on a dichotomy of Masonic/Deism and Puritanism and both have messianic tendencies that can work in tandem with Jewish messianism, all ultimately having common roots. US neo-con strategists such as Ralph Peters might see geopolitics in terms of attaining American hegemony while Zionists see the USA as a cats-paw for Israeli interests. It amounts to the same in practice, and there is often a conjunction, as there was with Puritan zealots such as Balfour who saw the creation of Israel in messianic terms.
Question #5: We have seen an intense assault upon Islam and the Muslim world since the false-flag attacks of 9/11. The “war on terror” is more aptly called a war against Islam. Israel and global Zionism is heavily involved, if not the leading element, behind that agenda. Is the fact that Islamic culture is very conservative and thereby resilient to the vices that have so plagued the West (gambling, alcohol, drugs, pornography etc.) another reason that the Zionists and their US corporate allies have so ruthlessly targeted those countries?
KB: Yes, readers should peruse the article “Constant Conflict” by the US geopolitical strategist Major Ralph Peters, which he wrote for Perimeters, the journal of the US Army War College. He made it plain that such “rejectionist” states would not have peace until they succumbed to US imposed globalisation. He said that the greatest weapon was the American Dream, which is “culturally lethal.” The masses, and especially the young, could not resist the blandishments of American hedonism and consumerism. America would rot the soul and the morale of any traditional nation, and where they resisted bombs would be used. Peter’s article is like reading something from the Protocols of Zion.
Apart from the wars against Islamic states, there was also the much-lauded “Arab Spring,” planned and paid for by the National Endowment for Democracy, Movement.com, etc. The Arab Spring was contrived and funded by the same people who brought the “colour revolutions” to the Eastern Bloc.
Another factor I think is that the Jihadists are being used dialectically by Israel and the USA to create chaos in target regimes such as Syria, which were years ago marked for destruction by the Project for a New American Century.
Jihadism is a creation of the CIA and Mossad, and is used as justification either for the US to directly intervene in a target state, or as a proxy militia against a target state. The KLA was classed as a terrorist organisation by the State Department until used against Milosevic. What became al Qaeda was created by the CIA to fight the USSR in Afghanistan. And as we know today, Jihadists were used in Libya and currently in Syria. Where did the Islamic State organisation suddenly pop up from, well armed, trained and taking vast areas of Iraq in quick order? Are we expected to believe that the CIA, NSA and Mossad did not know the Islamic State organisation existed until it suddenly marched through Iraq?
Question #6: You have been described as a Rightist thinker. What is your opinion on some of the more extremist elements of the Right (neo-Nazis, skinheads etc.) who get off on bashing other races/cultures? Do they not do much to discredit the legitimate concerns of people such as yourself and Kevin MacDonald who have documented this cultural assault upon Whites?
KB: We need people who can and will fight when required. Piteously, skinheads are among the few who will come out onto the streets. Generally their very character lacks self-discipline or any propensity to discipline. They are often more interested in making a fashion statement than a political statement, so they don’t know how to sensibly direct their aggression. I suppose it is easier to beat up a coloured immigrant than a banker. Some are intelligent individually, but like any group or mass situation among any group, the lowest denominator soon predominates.
Likewise, neo-Nazis seem most interested in fancy dress. It is interesting that those who talk the most extreme, want to display swastikas and leave organisations because they are “too moderate” or “traitors to Hitler” end up doing nothing more than wearing their Nazi dress-up in private and at most creating a swastika bedecked blogsite, and they render themselves impotent through their supposed non-compromise. I have seen and heard of it happening quite often even in a political backwater such as New Zealand.
However, political change requires more than writing and blogging. Fortunately, European states such as France, Italy, and Hungary, which had long histories of a combination of thought and action can build movements that are based on intelligent militancy. You need a well-informed leadership cadre, and a sufficiently informed following; a combination of thought and deed, rather than an imbalance towards either one.
Question #7: In your view, does there need to be a nationalist and cultural resurgence to curb the threat of globalism?
KB: We need power blocs working symbiotically, or Co-Nationalism, co-operation between nation-states in trade and foreign policy in particular. I think the West passed the point of no return and we now have to look at what post-Western civilisation will emerge, and what the best of Western traditions can offer that new civilisation. As Spengler foresaw, albeit after a Western resurgence, which seems to have been short-circuited by the US imperium, Russia seems the most likely origin for this post-Western Civilisation. That is why Judaeo-US interests are working again most vigorously to thwart the resurgence of Russia. Russia has gone through crises but not cycles of decay; they remain yet to fulfil their destiny as a culture organism.
Bizarrely, quite a few even among Conservative commentators are seeing the rise of China as a welcome sign against globalism. China is a fellaheen state animated by Western money and technology. It has no historical culture mission other than in a destructive sense, and will I think implode, perhaps not before creating wars for resources – particularly over water – in the region. I am dubious as to what extent China is a rival of the USA and a friend of Russia. Rockefeller, Kissinger, Brzezinski and Soros for a start regard China as essential to a new world order. There needs to be a broad front not only against US interests but also against China.
In particular there needs to be a rejection by youth of the nihilism promoted by the USA, as described by Ralph Peters. The Eastern Bloc did a better job with its youth. Hence, perhaps why East German youth flocked to Rightist groups when Germany was reunited; not as a reaction against the communism of their past, but because they were disciplined by a Spartan existence and a concept of patriotism, despite whatever Marxist rhetoric remained; likewise with youth in Hungary, and Romania. That is why Soros is so eager to introduce drugs, abortion, feminism and liberalism into the former Eastern Bloc; because he fears that is where a Rightist resurgence will most likely occur.
Question #8: For the benefit of the readership who may not be familiar with your work, tell us a little about some of the other books you’ve written and what you’re working on now.
KB: Revolution from Above was published by Arktos Media Ltd. in 2011. I wanted to write a book about the nexus between money and the Left based on reliable sources, without the over-extended theories and dubious secondary sources on which such books are often based. I also wanted to dispose of the widely held notion that this is an Anglo-imperial conspiracy based on the Cecil Rhodes legacy. That is a theory drawn mainly from Professor Quigley Quigley who, despite his sources, somehow managed to get it wrong. The Anglo-US globalist network never got going. In fact, what transpired was the destruction of the European empires by the USA since the time of Woodrow Wilson’s 14 Points and reiterated by Roosevelt’s Atlantic Charter. I further document the destruction of the European empires in an article in the first issue of Radix. Revolution from Above traces the how and why of big money backing for the Russian revolutionaries, the scuttling of the White Armies by US intervention, the support for a communist China, the New Left, including the psychedelic generation, and feminism, and concludes with the “colour revolutions” and Arab Spring. The book has been well received, accept for a particularly stupid review by Israel Shamir, who somehow managed to make some silly assumptions about the book, and for some reason claimed that I do not know the difference between the March and November 1917 revolutions.
Artists of the Right was published by Greg Johnson’s Counter-Currents Publications in 2012. The intention was to show that the Right, so far from being a mindless reaction, and the Left intrinsically intellectual, attracted the most significant cultural figures of our era. It is limited to being mostly about Anglophones, so while it does deal with Marinetti, Hamsun and D’Anunzio, it does not deal with Celine, Brassillach, Junger, et al. Perhaps another volume…
From 2012 a new publishing venture, Black House Publishing, has published many of my books. The first was The Parihaka Cult, which questions the official version of the Maori “messiah” Te Whiti and his community at Parihaka. The army occupation of Parihaka in the late 19th century is a foundation for the imposition of white guilt. Supposedly Parihaka was a pacifist settlement and Te Whiti is lauded as a precursor of Martin Luther King and Gandhi. I show he was a precursor of Jim Jones.
Stalin: The Enduring Legacy (BHP 2012) shows Stalin’s reversal of the Marxist lunacy that afflicted the USSR during the Lenin-Trotsky years, particularly in regard to the family and parenthood. It discusses his destruction of the Comintern and the elimination of the leadership cadres of the German and other communist parties in exile in the USSR from Fascism. Stalin eliminated more German communist leaders than Hitler. Discussed are the Soviet fight against the USA’s “rootless cosmopolitanism” in the arts, how Stalin prevented a new world order directly after World War II, the legitimacy of the trials against the Trotskyites, Trot support for the USA in the Cold War and the Trot foundations of NED, the Trotskyite character of US foreign policy, the question of Stalin’s death, and the present legacy of Stalin on Russia.
Geopolitics of the Indo-Pacific (Black House, 2013) considers the roles of the USA, Russia, China, and India in this region, and the scenarios for regional wars; in particular the control of water resources. China’s aggressiveness is discussed, and a broad front is called for against China, based around Russia and India, but excluding the USA.
The Banking Swindle (BHP, 213) aims to explain the character of usury banking, its history, and the numerous states and theories that have opposed it, especially those not so well known, such as the use of state credit by the New Zealand Labour Government in 1935. Likewise, but on a bigger scale, by Japan, Germany and Italy. While the Lincoln Greenbacks are quite well known, not so well known are the Confederate Greybacks. I also repudiate the claim that the Confederacy was a tool of international finance and that Judah P Benjamin was a Jewish agent working for the Rothschilds. Also the many examples of community credit used across the USA during the Depression, the Quebec social credit government, the Australian state bank, etc. The question of credit and banking is crucial yet underrated by the Right. That was not always the case. Other issues proceed form it – immigration, multiculturalism, Jewish inference… Nothing can be achieved unless the banking system is first dealt with.
Babel Inc. (BHP 2013). The title was suggested by Dr Drew Fraser, and had originally been “Building the New Babel.” There is a lengthy introduction by Dr Mark Dyal. The book includes discussion on the anti-capitalist nature of apartheid, and the White Australia Policy; how secularised disaffected Muslim youth are being used by the USA against France and other European states, particularly the way the USA is targeting France for what it sees as its excessive nationalism; how multiculturalism serves global capitalism as a doctrine; the State Department sponsorship of hip hop, etc. like they sponsored Jazz and Abstract Expressionism during the Cold War.
The Psychotic Left (BHP, 2013). I am sure that many reading this would have wondered when observing Leftists demonstrators or spokesmen, whether they are simply ill-informed and misguided, or whether there is some type of mental derangement at work that attracts them by their disposition to Leftism? Proceeding from the 19th century work of Max Nordau on the unbalanced intellectual (mattoids) , and Lothrop Stoddard’s early 20th century works on the appeal of revolution to scum, the book looks at the history and biographies of some seminal Leftist figures, including Rosseau, de Sade, Marat, and other Jacobins. Nathaniel Weyl’s concept of “Aristocide,” Nietzsche on resentment, John Spargo’s early observations on American Bolsheviks, Lobaczewski’s concepts of “ponerology” and “pathocracy”. The backgrounds of Marx, Lenin, Trotsky, Louis Althusser and Mao are discussed. There is a lot of analysis of the New Left, and its leaders, such as Mark Rudd, Jerry Rubin, Abbie Hoffman, Weathermen, Baader-Meinhoff, Jim Jones, nutcase Trot cults, the German Socialist Patients’ Collective, a quite influential group that received the endorsement of some prominent people in stating that being mentally sick is a desirable socialist trait. Also a discussion on the “New New Left” and the less edifying actions of the Occupy movement. How a leftist coterie of social scientists with Jewish funding labelled normative values as abnormal, dangerous and incipiently Fascist and in need of treatment by the “therapeutic state.”
I have also written a number of introductions to some classic books. For BHP: Oscar Wilde’s Soul of Man Under Socialism. While utopian Wilde nonetheless had a view of socialism that was based on aesthetics and there is much of interest that is alternative to Marxism.
William Joyce’s Twilight Over England. He wrote this in Germany. Whether one agrees with his National Socialism or not, and he was not particularly a Germanophile, or a Hitlerite, he has a lot to say on Socialism as an ethical system, and on England’s free trade economics. It is a fascinating history of England and the rise of plutocracy if the reader cares to get past the bigotry and slander against the name. I have written a quite detailed biography of him, and a discussion of his ideas.
Hilaire Belloc’s Europe and the Faith. Belloc of course writes from a Catholic viewpoint. My introduction looks at the ancient concept of Europe, through to the Medieval era, and the hijacking of the ideal of European unity by Kalergi and his Masonic and Rothschild backers.
T E Lawrence’s Seven Pillars of Wisdom (BHP 2013). My introduction provides a biography of Lawrence, the suspicious circumstances of his death, his rightist political views, and the way he and the Arabs were betrayed by Franco-English duplicity and scuttled by Zionist machinations. Included in this is a background to the Balfour Declaration, and a repudiation of early Zionist attempts to discount the Arab contribution to the winning of the war. Here I think the reader will find the origins of the present Middle East imbroglio, and the realisation that there could have been goodwill between the West and the Arabs if it had not been for the Zionist factor.
Imperium (Wermod and Wermod ed., 2013). Alex Kurtagic has published a new edition, hardback, thoroughly footnoted by him, with his own cover-art, a lengthy introduction on Yockey by me, new information on Yockey’s family background, and Julius Evola’s critique of Imperium.
My most recently published book is Peron and Peronism (BHP 2014). I wanted to put Peron in social, political and historical context and discuss his ideology, which is seldom mentioned in Peron biographies. Peron was a philosopher of substance who could marshal an array of philosophers in his lectures and books. He sought a third way transcending Marxism and Capitalism, which he saw as akin. He fully understood the banking system and issued state credit and bilateral trade. He was met in opposition by a predictable alliance of the USA and communism, and Jewish interests, the latter fully understood and opposed by him as was Masonry. I discuss the unfortunate opposition he got from politicised Churchmen, a situation that was perhaps aggravated by Masons and Communists in his own government. His ideology of Justicialism is documented, and his achievements. Also the role of the extreme Left supposed “Peronists” in destroying his last regime in alliance with Jewish plutocrats; again the money-communist nexus.
Due out hopefully this year is my book on Masonry and occult societies in politics, from Arktos Media Ltd., again aiming for a reliable and well-documented work on the subject. From Black House Publishing works by Codreau and Rivera with introductions by me; hopefully this year.
I am presently working on a book on Yockey, placing him in social, political and historical context, discussing his ideas, the idea of Europe; the use of psychiatry by the state; Yockeyan movements such as TRUD, Statercraft and NYA, the nature of the Wiesbaden war crimes trials; discussions on Russia, and on the works and lives of Frederick Weiss and H K Thompson, anecdotes by Yockeyans such as Ken Hoop and Douglas Kaye, etc. Yockey-influenced works by Dr E R Cawthron, Alexander Raven Thompson, Gerhardt Lauck, Carto, et al. This will be published by Arktos Media Ltd.
I am also working at the same time on a collection of Yockey essays called The World in Flames: Collected Essays of Yockey. Each essay in introduced with some brief background and comment. This will be published perhaps this year, by Counter-Currents Publications.
Next year I would like to write a book on the organic state and corporatism, including corporatist doctrines, theories, movements and states.
